Tips

  • A tip from one of our expert reviewers, Gayot: "Savoring the classic luxury of fried, golden brown oysters bathed in melted Brie seems fitting in Clancy's somewhat austere atmosphere." -On TripExpert

  • The duck is amazing!
  • Best gumbo in New Orleans. Get the crem e brle bread pudding. Yummy.
  • Save room for dessert! Lemon icebox pie is sooooo good.

  • From M: A classic, traditional experience. Housed in a charming old house uptown. A favorite for its superb service & delicious Creole cuisine. We love their hand written menus. Go for Dinner.
  • Seared scallops w foie gras, Brussel sprouts and kale salad were delish.Tbh, every dish was really good and we found a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Loved that its hidden away in a neighborhood.
  • Veal was fantastic
  • Scallops are perfectly cooked and the sugar cane vinegar glaze is incomparable.
  • The fried oysters with brie are a New Orleans classic. You cant go wrong with either of these ingredients, but paired together, they're amazing. This dish goes well with a nice red Burgundy.
  • Spend a few hours among Clancys cultured, effervescent clientele, and youll know what dining in the city of Sazeracs and shrimp rmoulade is all about.
  • Sweetbreads!!!
  • Old school joint. I would go back for the amazing smoked pork chop, and I'm not even a pork chop guy.
