  • I'm not sure how it's Indian, exactly, but the warm chocolate souffl is amazing. You may need to be alone with it.
  • A small fillet of plaice with Bengali spices; an Anjou pigeon breast cooked in the tandoori oven; grilled scallops with squid and cauliflower; we both left the table ready for an afternoons work.
  • Fine Indian cuisine in an old library building from the 1890s. Elegant, precise and full of flavor. Lamb and red deer were the crowd favorites.
  • Fab modern Indian restaurant
  • Fantastic modern Indian, great service in a gorgeous setting. Get usual portion sizes out of your head though, these are pretty small
  • At breakfast, it's very dressy and proper, but the Uttapam (8) is super spicy and delicious.
  • Fantastic modern Indian fusion. Beautiful balance of heat and spices. Chicken livers are amazing. Don't knock them till you try them.
  • Roast Cumbrian wild red deer saddle with corn and millet kedgeree is an interesting, though expensive, way to fill you up.
  • Launched a brand new cocktail menu. Highly recommended is "Don't Mess With Naga," a dizzying blend of Plata tequila, caramel liquor, lime juice, green-pear syrup, and Naga bitter.
  • Totally fab crabcakes!!
  • My second favourite Indian. Being in Westminster, I sometimes look underdressed when the MPs are lunching but it is not snobby place so never feel out of place.Tip: 22 quid for 3 course set lunch! WOW
  • Not your typical curry place - modern and creative, set in a former libray
  • As of today (2010-03-11) the infamous Rajastani Sangri Beans were off the menu, but when we asked our waiter for them, the chef could provide. Ask for them; they're unique (for london) and brilliant!
  • A great venue for spotting politicians at play, if you like that sort of thing. I love the breads here - but it all costs a bomb...
  • Delicious Indian cuisine and fantastic service. We pointed out that they had under charged us and they thanked us for our honesty with complimentary cocktails. Excellent all round.
  • Modern indian cuisine
  • Delicious modern Indian food, perfect for a special occasion. Salmon carpaccio with crab, prawns & spiced carrot cake were all outstanding. Start with a peach bellini. Mmmmm
  • Ausprobieren! Selten so intensiv, spannend gewrzt indisch gegessen.
  • One of the best Indian restaurant in London. Very nice venue with a lounge bar in the basement.
  • Expensive but deservedly so. Think colonial Indian food from the British point of view.
