Foursquare Tips

  • Get the pepper jelly vinaigrette for your salad.
  • FYI: The Chimes has a private upstairs porch over looking the river. Great for small parties or a romantic date all u have to do is ask the hostess and most of the time u can skip the waiting list
  • Great & fun place for American and local Louisiana food. Every kind of beer from around the globe; 75 bottled and over 100 on tap. Right on the Bogue Falaya river. Look for the goats on the property.
  • Try the Abita Andygator beer. Highly recommended
  • Sunday brunch is amazing!
  • Excellent brunch! So much food, so come hungry. Bloody Mary's on point and a gigantic craft beer selection. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are passing through Covington
  • Brunch has gotten a bit stingy. Benediction used to be covered in fried crawfish, this time I got like 5 and a piece of sausage :/ At least the views & mimosas are good.
  • Get the spinach dip. It has fried pasta bow ties instead of chips. Soooo good!
  • Family friendly! Take a walk in the Boardwalk and look for the goats!
  • The boudin balls are the best for an appetizer!
  • The atmosphere is a little different from Baton Rouge, but the bar is just as stocked and the food is authentic as usual.
  • You've got to get here mon ami.
  • awesome place!
  • Monday... Red beans!! Very good.
  • Yes, get a To-Go cup for your "water"!
  • PBR draft $1.75 - Happy Hour
  • Unforgivable. Our party of 10 has been seated @ an appalling Frankenstein mishmash of tiny tables which we've been reminded several times was meant for someone else.
  • Ask for the garlic ranch dressing and they'll make it for you:)
  • Burgers or salads
  • The chargrilled oysters are amazing.
