Tips

  • Sold out of manapua by 11am?! If you want manapua, get here early!
  • Pork Hash man, pork hash.
  • Known for their Har Gau, Siu Mai, Gok Jai and Char Siu Bau. Try the Taro Cake (sells out), Rice Cakes, or the Yup Chai. They even sell prepacked Chow Fun and Chow Mein as a fast take out.
  • Still the best place for manapua and pork hash. Pretty cheap too!
  • There is nothing better than seeing a friend walk in the door with a Dim Sum treat from Char Hung Sut, the originators of the big buggah manapua. Try the pork hash dipped in the shoyu mustard mmm ono
  • The char siu is a game changer. Super fresh, authentic, and delicious. I've been day dreaming about stopping in again! It's worth the drive downtown alone.
  • Make sure you grab some ma tai soo! So yummy!
  • The Mai Tai So here is best on the island, of course IMHO
  • Best manapua. Everything good. You can watch them make the pork hash and other stuff while you wait for your order.
  • you can call in your order! 538-3335
  • closed on Tuesdays
  • Great to take to potluck, parties and get togethers. Very portable and perfect clean finger food. Lots of variety.
  • Overall, the portions of the fillings were a bit smaller than expected. Especially in the pork bun, there was much more bread than filling.
  • Pork hash was good (texture similar to sticky rice dumplings) but didn't care for the half moon & pepitao.
  • Small shop that makes everything right in front of you! Though there are only a handful of things in the menu, you should go for the pork buns: fluffy, sweet & savory - exactly how it should taste.
  • legendary Hawaiian style Cantonese dumplings and baozi (manapua)
  • Maunapua and hash
  • On vacation
  • Red Bean Mochi
  • Best Manapua you will ever eat
