Foursquare Tips

  • The Stamina Spicy Ramen will be the highlight of your excellent meal here. This fiery ramen is topped with sliced pork, scallion, garlic, ginger, and a poached egg in a delicious miso broth.
  • Dumplings and Ramen!! Can't go wrong!
  • You must start your meal with the delicious buns. Japanese braised pork, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, & spicy teriyaki sauce on a bao bun.
  • Delicious ramen!
  • Great drinks and food
  • One of the top ramen places in DC, minus the fuss of the Chaplin theme and over staffed subpar service. Servers often seem more interested in socializing w each other rather than servicing patrons.
  • Stamina egg is a must-add to any ramen.
  • A Woman Fom Paris and injected dumplings
  • Omg spicy ramen and angel falls red wine
  • Hip spot that's a little loud but fun vibe. Lazaretto was great, as were the dumplings, pork buns, chicken Katszu and ramen. Only thing we didn't like was "the cure."
  • The Chaplin A.S.S. and Spicy Miso are delicious. One of the best ramen spots in DC
  • Happy hour until 7 everyday! Fantastic ramen selection.
  • Miso Ramen is delicious
  • Ramen is the way to go and they allow sharing.
  • The house namesake Chaplin ramen, the super garlicky stamina spicy ramen and the Chaplin A.S.S. spicy sour are all great. Your belly is guaranteed to be fully satisfied no matter which you choose.
  • Skip the ramen and stick to other menu items. The broth lacks depth and the pork isn't so flavorful.
  • Chaplains Bowl w/ Butter Corn! Delicious. I may be adventurous next time and get the Chaplain ASS
  • They have some good cocktails on the menu. Not too stiff, but inventive without being hokey.
  • Not the best ramen in DC,but food is still great. This place has a ton of charm, an extensive cocktail list, and great selections of teas.
  • The stamina ramen is just spicy for the sake of spice with no deeper flavors. Stick to another ramen and don't miss the dumplings.
