Tips

  • Can't go wrong with the Reuben! Coleslaw is amazing too.
  • The caraway rye is excellent here and it's a must have for making grilled Reubens at home. Corned beef sliced so thin that on windy days it can frequently be seen blowing over the nearby Ford bridge.
  • If you can handle grease the corned beef hash is the truth.
  • I've been spoiled all my life having great Deli right in St. Paul! You wouldn't think it was that hard, but it must be, because very few have tried, and only Cecil's and Crossroads have succeeded!
  • Russian Reuben. All you need to know.
  • Pastrami and shmear will send you straight to Yahweh.
  • This is my very first stop when I come to Minnesota. The Sasha on a toasted kaiser roll is delish! Try the hammentashins.
  • Best Reuben I've had in the Twin Cities, and I love Reubens.
  • Fantastic place. Lean corn beef on dark rye. Last delicatessen in Minnesota. Reminded me of my Chicago days. A must place.
  • The Reuben is probably the best in the Cities. The coleslaw is outstanding.
  • Cecil's Salad is the best. They also have the best Sweet and Sour Cabbage soup in town.
  • nice size sandwiches. good service. must get the cole slaw!
  • The Chopped Liver
  • Great deli with "to go" in front and table service in the back. Matzoh ball soup + half hot pastrami on rye was a perfect lunch.
  • Hot dogs...but they're expensive.
  • A historical spot in St. Paul. The Russian Reuben is the way to go
  • The Shayna is beyond delicious
  • My fave is the Sasha! YUM!!
  • Fries are now $1 extra. Still a deal.
