  • Bathroom so comically small you've got to sit sideways.
  • Established 1927. Continuously operated. First caffe in the United States to serve Cappuccino. Ornate bronze espresso machine built in 1902. Some of its decor dates back to the 16th century.
  • A cozy, old-world caf in Greenwich Village with good coffee and good food. Come here for a tasty retreat on a rainy day and get their cappuccino and uno panini.
  • Everything I don't want in a cafe...slow service and cash only... But still my favorite cafe in the world, and GREAT coffee! Been here 100+ times (before I started using 4sq).
  • Carrot cake is always my favorite. Btw, the password for wifi here is 212-475-9557.
  • Caffe Reggio's claim to fame--a 1902 cappuccino machine-- allegedly introduced the drink to New Yorkers. Check out the cafe's Renaissance-era decor as well.
  • very cute coffee shop
  • My waitress looks like Rachel Leigh Cook in 'She's All That.'
  • Breakfast special served all day: Muffin Benedict, Original Cappuccino and freshly squeezed OJ for $13.95
  • wi-fi password: 2124759557 - via
  • Double Espresso Roman will wake you up! Perfect!
  • Flawless almond cappuccino.
  • No outlets here. This is not an exaggeration.
  • Llooking for something cold and sweet? Try the Delicioso! You won't be sorry!
  • Very nice staff.
  • The inside is very dark.
  • Capucino is awesome, always busy place.
  • To-go prices for espresso drinks are much lower than to-stay.
  • Admire the art on the walls. I don't think that it has changed since they shot the original Shaft here in the 1970s
  • The chairs aren't comfortable and the bathroom could fit in an airplane, but the capuchinos are top-notch and the servers are always nice. For a real treat, try a sundae or banana split.
