Tips
- Hong Kong's best ramen
- If you visit Butao alone, you may skip the queue. Tell the staff you are not in a group, and s/he will invite you directly inside the restaurant if there is a spot for one person.
- Excellent ramen. All elements from oil to broth to firmness of noodles is customisable. You must also order the additional egg.
- very fast service, offers English menu, personally found the portion too small - but you can ask for more noodles when you order. loved the atmosphere and can't wait to try their other ramen!
- Get their "green king" if you're looking for something different! The Parmesan cheese hits the spot when it mixes with the soup base!
- The best ramen in town.. Come around 1200 and wait only 5 min..
- A must eat in HK. Best ramen ever. Everything from the veg, char Siew, noodles to the soup is fantastic. Come early as they usually sell out and close at 730pm
- best ramen I had. recommend the black king. It like the spanish back rice but in Ramen form. FANTASTIC
- !
- was the ramen good? Yes. Was it worth waiting for an hour? No. My humble opinion, Mist? in CWB is just as good and you don't have to wait forever.
- Amazing ramen - and very affordable. I got the red king. Be careful with spice levels - as it can get spicy. Super tasty!
- Red King ramen is fantastic!
- Love their pork here.
- 6:30pm on a weekday is a good time - no queue :)
- Not so good as promoted. Not worth waiting for so long for such a ramen. It just good, not the best in town for sure. 200 bowls per day only? Nah, just a bullshit to get people queuing long. Boo!
- 15 min for one on a weekday at 3:30pm; 20 for a couple; 30 for a group of 4. Weekday lunch - 1hr+ for all
- So far the best ramen in town.
- if you can't read, ask them to help you out :)
- be prepared to line up for an hour. limited to 200 bowls daily. is it the best ramen in HK? imo, NO.
