Foursquare Tips

  • Spectacular food and drink. Have a glass of Natalino del Prete and a bowl of oxtail ramen. Fantastic.
  • Beautiful new menu additions. The uni chawan mushi is exemplary. Easily my favorite restaurant in the city right now. Wine list is groundbreaking for its dedication to natural wine.
  • This gimlet!
  • Very creative kitchen. They are also very flexible about leaving out butter and salt, when requested. They aren't too precious.
  • Food is great but portions are wayyy too small for the price
  • Food here tastes different. Something about the ingredients tastes very home-made/organic/natural... Can't quite put my finger on it.
  • Chefs tasting menu is wonderful. Make sure to try the dumplings.
  • Ramen and radish salad are sooo good!!
  • Not my fave... Expensive, small portions, and quite bland. Literally went to McDonald's afterwards.
  • Every dish is beautiful-- expect to be seated in very close proximity to others, since it's quite a tight space
  • Ribs, Gnudi
  • Absolutely everything. A fantastic dining experience, they never disappoint.
  • Try the bison ribs!
  • Great seasonal, shareable menu. Noodles comparable to Harvest. Sit at the bar & watch the food prep, or chat w/ friendly staff. They even answer to: "what's that vegetable? Is burdock a root?"
  • Andrea Carlson has shaped Vancouvers fresh, local and sustainable style. Burdock & Co is a shining example of casual locavore fine-dining: Vancouver style. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Refreshing ramen soups, while everything else is suitable to share. A mean caramel apple crisp pot pie a la mode, from scratch, that is worth the wait. Also worthwhile bar seat, by the open kitchen.
  • The Pork and Burdock sausage is to die for!
  • The Oxtail Ramen is amazing and the Farro and Black Garlic is to die for!
