Foursquare Tips

  • Glad to have this kind of place on Franklin.
  • Really good cocktails. Enjoyed the Girl Next Door made with soju, vodka, red ruby grapefruit juice & fresh mint.
  • Don't underestimate the artichoke bun and be sure to get at least one bowl (w/ an egg!)
  • Every bun is solid. Try the artichoke, it's a sleeper. Kimchi is on par with momofuku. But the best part about the place? The music selection. Truly classic jammies! Funk, soul and classic hip hop.
  • Go with the Korean fried chicken or pork jowl bun!
  • Buns are small but really, really good. Get three with kimchee and you'll be happy. Also awesome happy hour until 7:30!
  • You ever have a craving for ridiculously good food and some of the friendliest service around? Go here. It'll do you good. Try the Edamame. Eat every bun. Call me up, I'll meet you there. You buy.
  • Pork Jowl Bun & Baby Artichokes!
  • Pork fat edamame, fried cauliflower nuggets, and pork jowl bun were all fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try more!
  • Just when I thought the Baohaus had a corner on the gua bao market... Bunsmith shows up out of nowhere and knocks it out of the park Out of the way, but worth the trek.
  • Cauliflower nuggets w/ aioli, so garlicky good. Spam & Cookie Butter Bun? Whaat? Yaaassssss honty! Yassssss! Bulgogi w/ zucchini noodles instead of rice, fresh & light! Sips of Ruby Red cocktail! Yum!
  • The buns are incredible, especially the tofu, fried chicken, crab, and pork belly buns.
  • Bunsmith is delllliiiish. Spicy and ginger soy chicken buns might be my favorite, but they're all great. Happy hour on buns and drinks during the week!
  • They got rid of happy hour... -___-
  • Absolutely delicious buns. The spicy chicken ones and artichoke ones were especially good
  • Delicious food - go for the happy hour bun deal
  • The spam and cookie bun seems weird, BUT IS SOO GOOOD!
  • Pork jowl and soy ginger kfc. Solid snack but kinda pricey for small pocket buns. Can get bigger and just as good if not better buns at ramen places for same price.
  • Everything is good! Try the spam and cookie butter. You will be surprised! Korean fried chicken and bulgolgi are favorites! Soju is a must! Cheers!
  • Very very yummy Korean food
