Tips

  • Go to Black Sheep, get the ricotta and meatball pizza
  • Order the meatball pizza, which sounds meat-headed, but tastes sublime. You're unlikely to find better meatballs on or off a pizza anywhere else.
  • Try the #5. This pizza, with its coal-fired crust, meaty fennel sausage and hot salami, and flourish of onions and olives.Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, February 2011
  • The meatball and ricotta pizza is an elegant tribute to those two Italian titans. Just try it.
  • Getting a little smudge of char on your face is inevitable when you're messily digging into a slice of Black Sheep's outstanding pizza. It's a flavor that goes well with everything.
  • I love their fennel sausage (good sausage!), fresh tomato, and ricotta pizza. House wine is very good too!
  • Solid few select beer taps. 3 surly.
  • Best pizza I've found in the Cities so far. Can't go wrong with fresh ingredients and amazing thin crust pizza. Good beer selection too!
  • #7 rocks. oyster mushrooms, smoked Gouda. also try a Surly beer!
  • Go with the #5: fennel sausage, hot salami, thinly sliced white onion, and cracked green olives. Its brilliant!
  • You owe it to yourself to get a #5 and grab a Surly while your at it
  • The salads at Black Sheep Pizza are as good as the pizzas... damn, they're fresh and lively.
  • Get the oyster mushroom and garlic pizza and chopped salad
  • The Sicilian pizza is a work of art.
  • I definitely recommend the "make your own" with chicken and feta. Great location, great service, great food.
  • Really exceptional pizza, they don't skimp on toppings and leftovers make an awesome cold pizza breakfast the next morning!
  • I find myself craving their Chop Salad. It's so good! This place gets super busy, but delivers in taste. The pepperonis are huge and The Oyster Mushroom pizza was a unique mix of flavors, a must try!
  • This Warehouse District pizzeria puts a big premium on its crust, which has an evenly cooked chewy/crunchy texture that's second to none.
  • This is the quarter Sicilian - PLENTY for one person! It is very good, fresh & crispy! I will be back to try a #5 very soon!
  • Great little spot for a pizza, salad and beer. Would highly recommend.
