Foursquare Tips

  • Real fry aficionados rejoice because their fries are made Belgian-style, which means they're blanched and twice-fried, leaving the fry crispy and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
  • Beets have been done to death, but this compilation of super-sweet roasted beets, sliced jalapeo, cashews, and toasty-tasting wild rice, given a drizzle of hibiscus-lime dressing, feels fresh & new.
  • The "pig of the week" sandwich comes from a hog the restaurant roasts in a different style each Sunday.
  • Grand opening today. It was busy but not loud and the octopus starter was amazing!!! Prices are very reasonable and you get all of the quality and imagination of Kevin Binkley!!!
  • Get a few dishes from the "local produce" section of the menudates and pecans with arugula and chevre, or a slab of eggplant dressed with miso vinaigrette.
  • The Bink's doughnut is soft white cake encased in a crisp, deep-fried exterior, generously coated in powered sugar, & served with what may be the richest butterscotch sauce we've ever tasted.
  • The rabbit tastes like chicken.
  • Fantastic variety of dishes made with local produce.
  • Obviously, veggies star here, but don't miss the sazerac with absinthe-soaked star anise, flamed table side. A bit of drama to begin the evening...
  • The perfect place for a cozy dining date with a friend
  • The culinary powerhouse re-imagines local produce in delicious small plates in a cozy neighborhood spot with wood floors, wainscoting, and white linen. One of the best new restaurants of 2013.
  • No shortage of drinks at Binks!
  • The heirloom tomatoes and fried chicken are both delicious. All the local veggie dishes were great!
  • Kevin Binkley's midtown restaurant serves Sunday brunch from 10am to 2:30pm and as you would expect, offers a seasonally sensitive menu of hot and cold veggie dishes as well typical brunch favorites.
  • The menu is impeccably sourced and can be described as upscale and playful. Think sweet and sour "sweetbreads nuggets," barbecue octopus, and green apple sorbet "push pops."
  • James Beard Award-nominated chef Kevin Binkley will have two restaurants open on December 31. For reservations at the new Scottsdale location in Shops at Hilton Village, call 480-664-9238.
  • Food..very good. Service..not so much. She was friendly, but had no idea about the food or drink menus and seemed just outta junior high. Made it a bit awkward
  • Chicken was amazing.
  • Leave it to Kevin Binkley to bring you French toast with a twist. The Bink's Midtown French toast is served up in a piping hot skillet, topped with cider glazed prunes and ricotta.
  • I had the pork belly and a kale salad OMG really good! The duck was good too. I'm kind of bummed the brussel sprouts are out of season. Over all an awesome place, bring friends to share the entres.
