Tips

  • Amazing. Get the Etouffee
  • I recommend the seafood gumbo and garlic bread. So YUMMY!
  • Good Cajun food but the rotisserie items were a let down. Great gumbo and fried green tomatoes.
  • the shrimp and grits were the best thing we ordered. they forgot about a lot of our dishes :/
  • Gumbo is very good. I would get some garlic bread with it. Chicory coffee wasn't so bad either. Smooth, but I would let it sit in the French press for at least 4 minutes before straining.
  • Tasty and relatively affordable Cajun food. Check out the ribs, gumbo, and fried okra.
  • The BBQ shrimp, the fried green tomatoes, crawfish etouffee, and the fried shrimp po boy were amazing! Best Louisiana food I've had outside of Louisiana.
  • The grit cakes are so good with the sweet potato pure. Recommend getting po boys and the rotisserie items, too.
  • Good po boys have finally come to the mission
  • Get the broiled oysters gratinee!
  • Large portions, reasonably priced. Rotisserie chicken supper plate was a bit too salty. The beignet order is three large beignets, can be shared.
  • Frog legs, and po boy.
  • The ribs were pretty good - tender and not too dry. Service was slow and other stuff was mediocre.
  • Not very organized staff.
  • The grit cakes and shrimp is good.
  • Rotisserie chicken, New Orleans style....
  • Fried okra is great!
