  • East-coast, no bs-style ordering.
  • Classic turkey sandwich serve with attitude. 5 Bucks.
  • "mixed turkey on wheat with lettuce, mayo, berries" <= memorize it. know it well.
  • They are a cash only restaurant.
  • Get the meatloaf sandwich!
  • check twitter for the daily soup announcement.
  • You really need two slices of apple pie, because the first one will be so delicious and you will eat it so fast that you really don't remember it. The second one, you savor.
  • The new Greek yogurt parfait is fantastic.
  • They make all of their own breads and meats daily!
  • Don't let the decor or occassionally gruff staff deter you... excellent, simple, inexpensive food. Jay (the owner/operator) is funny, generous, and an entertaining guy to watch!
  • About a dozen turkeys are roasted each day for their sandwiches. Try the dark on dark. Simple, delicious food for very little cash.
  • So. Good. But it's cash only and the employees move SUPER fast, so be prepared!
  • This is a good sandwich shop if you think Dick's is a good burger shop
  • Love their bread and the price point is hard to beat for lunch around there
  • The turkey sandwich is post-Thanksgiving style, no fuss, no muss, just stacked with meat and topped with a single slice of American cheese.
  • Owner was extra grumpy the day I went and treated me like I was an idiot. The turkey sandwich was good, but I can go elsewhere and get one almost as good and not be yelled at. I'll pay extra for that.
  • Shh. Don't tell anyone, but I liked the clam chowder better than Ivar's.
  • Split pea soup and tuna sandwich both excellent! The owner's grumpiness: charming :)
  • I said all the wrong things & knew nothing of what is supposedly common knowledge. They moved too fast for me though there was no line. However, they let me have my lunch and pay next time. Priceless!
  • I know the gruff service is a thing and we're supposed to be charmed by or ignore it, but the mediocre turkey soup doesn't justify racist commentary and personal insults. I won't be back.
