Tips

  • The food is pretty good; after all, it is an expensive, upmarket chain. But it has a curiously outmoded feel and doesnt seduce like Nobu or Zuma.
  • The bar leads to an indoor Japanese restaurant decorated in silk and charcoal. The crowd throughout looks the part too. More locals in the know than tourists clutching guidebooks.
  • Just introduced a dress code. Really stupid for a bar/ restaurant in Soho. Pretentious and would not go back.
  • Sushi Sunday brunch to live and die for. Tips: take a rich and generous friend. Don't eat for at least 12 hours before. Encourage the staff to ply you with champagne.
  • You MUST try the wagyu beef and foie gras maki rolls - Amazing! Simply the best thing on the menu! 34 for 8 pieces! Yuma !
  • Try tuna sushi
  • Great view and a gifted chef. Go there if Shushi is your thing
  • Best sushi ever. Ask for the contemporary plate!
  • I've been here before and really enjoyed it. This time it was a bit too noisy. Maybe it's because it was a Friday night. Music was way too loud . Food was good . Tempura shrimp and teriyaki chicken
  • Great for an after work drink! :)
  • Grab a cocktail at the bar, you wont regret it!
  • Great food, order more than you think you'll eat. Service is shocking. Stick to specifics & not platters. Sushi platter was woeful. Other 11 dishes were fabulous.
  • Entrance at 30 Argyll Street.
  • Just turn up on a busy night without a reservation and they'll seat you at the sushi bar.
  • Cocktails and the sushi are amazingly creative concoctions
  • The apple martinis are delicious
  • looks like a clip joint but has great Japanese food and good service (and that's from a Japanese)
  • Sushi is mandatory!
  • I like it. I heard that the Spanish one is awful. We ordered maki rolls are tasty and the rice is highly recommended. They have a special spinach and sesame salad also worth trying.
