The brewpub makes its own hop-forward craft beers, brewed in-house, and also features a great selection of guest craft beers on its 45 taps. The menu not only is made up of its classic and specialty pizzas, it also offers its signature “Off the Map Pies” and they boast a bronze medal award beer from the Great American Beer Festival.
Buffalo, NY – Barrel & Brine
Renovation has begun at the Barrel & Brine slated to open the end of November. The husband and wife team of R.J. and Lindsey Marvin will feature menu items that have been preserved through brining. The restaurant will feature creations from European and Asian food cultures such as sauerkraut, kimchi and an Italian family favorite, caponatina.
Chicago, IL – Duck Duck Goat
Chinese-influenced restaurant is on schedule for a late fall opening in Fulton Market. Chef-owner Stephanie Izard has done plenty of traveling overseas to prepare and diners can look forward to handmade noodles and dumplings. Izard hopes to have a takeout window ready before the restaurant is finished that will serve Taiwanese street food.
San Diego, CA – The Crack Shack
Celebrity Chef Richard Blais of Juniper and Ivy will open a fast-casual dining restaurant concept featuring eggs, fried and grilled chicken and sandwich items from breakfast through well into the evening. Diners will order at a counter with the restaurant featuring a large outdoor patio and seating area.
Atlanta, GA – JP
The fine-dining restaurant JP, slated to open in December at 230 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta, has named its executive chef, Julio Delgado. The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and a late-night service at the bar. JP Atlanta will offer “an exciting menu focused on classic cooking styles, but with modern elements and fresh local ingredients.”
