  • Very classy place with very good food served well in a tasting menu format.

  • 4 courses! Swordfish was great! Great dessert too!
  • Food is incredible, eat it slowly. Wine pairings are lousy. Get a glass instead.
  • Try the Celery Root Souffl. Sitting prettily on brioche and dressed with braised leeks, this simple starters subtle earthiness surprises you.Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, February 2011
  • One of the best restaurants in the city
  • Delicious! Butterscotch dessert is literally amazing as well as the lobster toast!
  • The potatoes in the cafe... well, they haunt me in a good way.
  • Order smoked whitefish tartine, tomato-bread soup, and brownie sundae in the caf; whatever looks good on the always-changing restaurant menu (wild-nettle sformato, shellfish-coconut stew, etc)
  • Tasting menu
  • Best prix fix around, and a wonderful staff. The picture is the duck carnitas from the always seasonal menu.
  • If you're reading this in the summer of 2015, get the pasta dishes. Awesome.
  • If there are no reservations left on Open Table, wander in early 5/6 pm and take a seat at the bar.

  • Restaurant alma is one of the best restaurants in the twin cities! Everything I had there was absolutely divine! I have no complaints. However the lamb was by far the best thing on the menu love
