  • See the Ghost Clock.
  • Perhaps the most conquerable of all the Smithsonians, this small but delightful museum of American arts and decorative crafts is a sea of calm.
  • Great Art - some of my favorite pieces and a great way to beat the heat around the White House.
  • The Wonder exhibit is fantastic: a collection of full-room installations in a variety of media, including preserved insects! Must be seen to be believed.
  • This place never disappoints. The building is relatively small but they rotate the exhibits on a regular basis and they are always super cool and have over the top, interesting art pieces.
  • Look for the ghost clock!
  • this one of the most underrated spaces in dc
  • @cspanhistory visited the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery to learn about Delphine Hirasuna's book & exhibit "The Art of Gaman: Arts and Crafts from the Japanese American Internment Camps, 1942-1946."
  • I adore Renwick. Each time I'm in town they have something beautiful and wondrous to show. Art that makes you think, not some random abstract crap
  • The Wonder exhibit on now is breath taking. No line for the downstairs rooms so if you're in a rush you can still experience some of the beauty.
  • Closed till 2016
  • The big upstairs room is impressive. Check it out.
  • Check out "Game Fish" by Larry Fuente, on the second floor.
  • Awesome place for visiting.
  • Lots of cool vase sculptures, awesome mug exhibit, right by the White House !
  • Small and wonderfull gallery. Must go.
  • Beautiful contemporary art museum with rotating exhibits right next to the White House!
  • Interesting exhibitions take place, must see in DC
  • Not my fave... super small, main exhibit is trippy ceiling thing and was cool but rest of the rooms were just bleh - can walk thru whole thing in 30 min!!!
