Foursquare Tips

  • Red Lantern is the perfect mix of bar, restaurant, and lounge. Upscale Asian dining with great atmosphere and awesome service! TIP: You can charge your phone near the bathrooms downstairs.
  • Decorated with Buddhas and populated by scantily clad cocktail waitresses, Red Lantern has a night-life vibe. But tasty snacks, sushi, and steaks make it more than just a scene.
  • Have a flaming plum shot!!!
  • Go to the bathroom downstairs! The ones upstairs are single occupancy only and most people go there since it's on the main floor.
  • The New style California roll and the Ronin roll were superb!! Also must order the rock shrimp tempura and the lobster rangoons as appetizers!!
  • We like our sushi served with a scenem and Red Lantern delivers with a beautiful open kitchen, dressed-to-impress crowd and to-die-for dcor.
  • Devine lobster rangoons- overall amazing!
  • Excellent food, nice ambience and good cocktails. Good for groups and also for a date
  • Rubbing the Buddhas belly here is bad luck with the bouncer
  • Rock. Shrimp. Tempura.
  • Flaming plum shot overrated... Tastes like warm jger
  • Huge scorpion bowl.
  • They bartenders (particularly Meghan) are brutal. Over priced, weak drinks. Never going back again.
  • Noodle and rice dishes are stupid huge - one per two people is plenty
  • Not as cool as it looks
  • Follow on FB or Twitter and get hooked up on the secret Social media Special!! Shhh keep it on the DL
  • Most upscale Asian restaurant in Boston. Pretty pricey. Don't bother with the sushi but definitely get everything else.
  • The geisha is a great cocktail. The food is just okay and over-priced. Wasn't impressed by the sushi. I've had better. Bar scene is good. Come for the drinks, not dinner
  • The Tuna Tempura Roll and the Crunchy Roll are can't miss choices if you like sushi. Thank me later.
  • Have a seat at the kitchen bar! You get to see exactly what goes into this yummy food!
