Foursquare Tips

  • yam biscuit with eggs avocado and mole. tres tasty.
  • Order the lamb braised in Telegraph Stock Porter and chiles--the rich beer and touch of heat accentuate the flavorful meat:
  • Out of business
  • The latest step in the Brooklynization of Echo Park, it's crafty, folky, a bit clumsy and subtly manipulative.
  • The restaurant takes its name from a prewar nickname for the neighborhood, when the steep, narrow streets were known for their concentration of radicals and freethinkers.
  • The best dessert, oddly enough, is a bouncy olive oil cake: split, filled with lightly sweetened tomato sorbet and garnished with juicy slivers of tomato peel; summer expressed in an unexpected way.
  • The pasta is exemplary and the service is impeccable and completely at ease. Meatballs were delicious as well. Best find in a long time.
  • Though I'm still not quite sure what the heck "new American" means as a cuisine, the food sure was tasty!
  • The Breakfast flat bread (runny egg, prosciutto & kale) was delicious!
  • Bread & Butter plate is just so-so. Should be free; not $4. Squid with Potatoes is ok. Roasted Duck with Grapes and Cherries is perfection. No place does duck like Red Hill.
  • The burrata and roasted pluot plate is easily the best thing I've eaten in a while.
  • Food is delicious but be prepared to be here for a while. Food service is pretty slow. Loved the cauliflower!
  • Excellent rapport qualities prix, carte creative. Parfait pour un diner a Echo park.
  • Portions are kind of small but the food is yummy. Great vegetarian options. A welcome addition to the neighborhood!
