DAVIDsTEA

Why have an ordinary brunch when you can have an extraordinary brunch? While you’re on your patio soaking in the sun and eating your waffles, the perfect drink to have by your side is a strawberry mimosa made with DAVIDsTEA.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups water
  • 2 spoonfuls of DAVIDsTEA Strawberry Colada
  • 1 Tablespoon agave nectar
  • Sparkling wine (substitute club soda for non-alcoholic version)

Directions

Steep tea for 5 minutes, then strain.

Fill a medium bowl with ice and pour in tea. Stir in agave nectar and mix until dissolved. Pour mixture into a pitcher while straining out the ice.

Fill champagne flutes halfway with sparkling wine, then fill the rest of the way with chilled tea. Substitute club soda for a kid-friendly version.

Strawberry Shopping Tip

Buying fruits in season when they are at the peak of their freshness make for great tasting food and can save you money.

Strawberry Cooking Tip

Don’t throw out your overripe fruit – instead blend into a smoothie or salad dressing, add to muffin batter, bake into a cobbler, or boil down with sugar and a little lemon juice to make jam.
