‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin. From your coffee to your pie, it’s all about fall’s favorite gourd. You love the flavor, but did you know that pumpkin can actually aid digestion and boost immunity? It is also high in beta-carotene, which helps protect against UV rays. Toast to healthy skin and eyes when you make this seasonal spiced pumpkin martini.
½ ounce tangerine vodka, such as Skinnygirl
1 ounce pumpkin pie vodka, or vodka infused with pumpkin pie spice
2 ounces pumpkin purée
½ ounce light half & half
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, or pumpkin pie spice
Pour vodkas, pumpkin purée, cream and sugar in a blender and mix on low until well mixed.
Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with spices and cinnamon stick.
