- 1 cup light corn syrup, preferably karo
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 cup crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon corn oil
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 teaspoon water
- 5 dash of green food coloring
- Spray a serving plate or shallow tray with cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook corn syrup and sugar together, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter; mix well.
- Add cereal; stir until evenly coated.
- Pour onto prepared plate and let cool 3–5 minutes.
- Spray hands with cooking spray and shape cereal mixture into 1 oval-shaped football, about 12 by 7 inches.
- In saucepan over low heat, melt semi-sweet chocolate and butterscotch chips together, stirring constantly.
- Spread over football top and sides.
- Combine white chocolate chips and oil in a small plastic bag.
- Microwave on high for 30–60 seconds, until smooth.
- Snip off one corner of bag with scissors and carefully squeeze to make seam and laces for the football.
- Cool at least 45 minutes, or until firm. Cut into bars.
- Combine coconut, water, and food coloring in a large plastic re-sealable bag.
- Gently toss until coconut is uniformly green.
- Sprinkle coconut on plate around football to make “grass.”
