Ingredients

  • 2 limes, quartered
  • 1/2 Cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 Tablespoon white vinegar
  • 4 Teaspoon sugar
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 Teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 Teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 pasilla chile, seeded and halved lengthwise
  • 1/4 Cup rock salt
  • 2 medium white onions, peeled and finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed and peeled
