Basil Hayden’s Maple Sour


  • 1 ½ Ounce bourbon, such as Basil Hayden’s
  • ¾ Ounce tawny port
  • ¼ Ounce maple syrup, such as Grade B
  • ½ Ounce lemon juice
  • 1 heavy dash of bitters, such as Bittermen’s Molé
  • lemon wheel
  • cherry


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake for 15 seconds and double strain into a double Old Fashioned glass with ice.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.
