Foursquare Tips

  • New configuration is awful. Queue Lines are too long and consume entire shopping aisles.
  • Always check the price tags before you buy - they actually sell a $22 jar of almond butter
  • Expensive
  • Super crunchy granola store. Makes Whole Foods look like Safeway.
  • Pricey but good for picking up organic groceries when you are in a bind and don't have time to make it to Trader Joe's.
  • They have pears. Woo Hoo!
  • Super pricey but good selection of fresh and organic food.
  • New product here. Try Zola's refreshing coconut water!
  • Only fresh, organic produce one can find in Russian Hill.
  • Try the local & organic Three Twins ice cream...
  • $4.99 for a box of crackers. Every six pack is over $10.
  • Make sure you check the expiry dates. This block of cheese had been expired for about a week when I bought it. That's unacceptable for any grocery store.
  • Can't wait to taste my $10 kale pesto with white cheddar pasta sauce.
  • Try the inconceivably delicious Three Twins ice cream!
  • They sell House Kombucha! There is dust collecting on some of their chocolate selection, though, so check the Sell By dates.
  • Meat is cheaper at the back counter!
  • Get a rewards cards, have saved lots of money. Wish I had a small roll cart to get stuff home, though, always end up with too much because it's all local and organic. Be prepared.
  • Spot Bagels are by far the most important thing to know about the Real Food Company. Buy a bagel from Spot Bagel, eat it toasted or un-toasted with butter or cream cheese & a sprinkle of sea salt!
  • Sign up for Preferred Customer Program.
  • yogurt is decently priced here (minus the fage, $10!)
