Read A Letter From WWI Troops Calling For Coca-Cola

As World War I rode on in 1918, 4,000 U.S. soldiers were sweltering in the heat and decided that something must be done about a Coca-Cola shortage. For as much as "Soldiers dislike to admit defeat," they were facing "defeat at the hands of Enemy Heat & Thirst." Here's the excellent letter to the Waco, Texas bottling corporation.
