  • Try the roast carrot and avocado salad from our 100 Best list:Crunchy with seeds, redolent with spices and enhanced with crme frache, this is proof there is such a thing as salad evolution.
  • Cocktails at this revived classic nightspot are competently executed versions of the classics. Order the ginger margarita made with Olmeca Altos tequila: http://tmoutchi.us/13EV7jr
  • Don't opt for the prix fixe meals. Portions are ridiculously small. Wait service is painfully slow too. Good for drinks but not sit down meals. Nice ambiance.
  • best place for a business lunch...
  • If they'd pick up the phone... Perhaps they'd have more brunch reservations
  • Reopened focusing on farm-to-table and organic cuisine. On the menu, among the dishes are: slow-baked Atlantic salmon, over roasted lobster, chicken-liver toast and roasted carrot and avocado salad.
  • Let me in with no problems on a Friday night. These people need a stricter door policy.
  • Food better than expected. Some of the best in the city, actually. Short ribs are amazing, beef tenderloin perfectly prepared, tuna tartare is heavenly, and don't forget dessert!
  • Chair next to the fireplace, champagne in hand and anything dessert here is amazing especially the one with caramel popcorn and coffee ice cream
  • Good food. Great drinks. Amazing people watching.
  • Salmon appetizer w/ crispy rice & chipotle aioli is always a crowd pleaser. Salads might sound boring, but here they're usually a highlight of the meal. New peach cobbler w/ bourbon ice cream, yes!
  • NYC transplant? Here's home away from home. Come for brunch ( order the french toast and a PB&J donut ) and stay for games by the fireplace. If you're lucky, you just might meet an angel.
  • Try the passion chili bourbon cocktail. Comes with a kick.
  • Pay special attention to the sandwiches, made with chewy ciabatta, meats cooked in-house and wonderful spreads like the herb mayonnaise on turkey with bacon, arugula and jalapeos ($12).
  • "Despite the familiar name, the new Pump Room has its own orbit, its own place in the universe." --Phil Vettel, food critic, Sept. 14, 2011
  • Perfectly gorgeous and classy!
  • Try the flaming lime boat tequila drink
  • The pump room is stylish and the staff is very friendly.
  • Cocktails are great! Love the ambiance!
  • Restaurant is great for wine and they offer great appetizers to pair up with the wine. Nice, cozy atmosphere here as well. The bar gets too crowded though so stick with the dining room.
