Tips

  • More people are here for photographs than those for history
  • Supposedly one of the most lavish mansions of Old Beijing. Check out the rock "garden." So interesting!
  • Beautiful traditional imperial architecture! A bit touristy though and if your coming in summer prepare to bring lots of water to prevent a heat stroke!
  • Closed until 18 March, 2019
  • A lovely place when not crowded
  • Beautiful mansion with a nice artificial lake in the back and some coffees place inside. 40 y to enter and no big lines although full of Chinese tourists.
  • Garden, old architecture, fengshui, traditional Chinese mansion
  • Beautifully nested in hutongs. Unfortunately no English explanations inside. Worth to visit.
  • This old house has a great and interesting history! You need to get a local tour guide to know the story!
  • Remarkable historic site in Beijing
  • The most perfect prince's mansion in china about Qing period. Valuable, but some house were not open today.
  • The owner was the original batman. You can spot them all over. Even one of the pools he had made in shape of a bat.
  • Beautiful and interesting historical spot nestled in the Hutongs. Beware the site closes its doors at 4 pm. Lots of hassling rickshaws drivers in the neighborhood trying to get some yuans: a rip off.
