Foursquare Tips

  • A fresh take on African American dishes: smoked baby backs, roast salmon, buttermilk fried chicken and greens cooked down with ham hocks with an understated chefly flair. Plus hand-stretched pizza.
  • Our Fall Edibles Class at Post & Beam.
  • Fantastic cast-iron natural half-chicken; so full of flavor. The warm corn bread with whipped honey butter is out of this world. Too bad about the watered -down drinks and slow service.
  • The purple basil mojito is really good, so are the ginger mojitos
  • Try the cast-iron chicken, a beautifully crisped half-bird served with your choice of two side dishes.
  • A Must Have Dish: Freshly baked biscuit that the kitchen splits in two, toasting the sugar-sprinkled halves before filling them with whipped crme frache and juicy berries.
  • Highly recommend the black eyed peas. T to the A to the STY. (no fergie included)
  • A truly hidden gem tucked away in the urban craze! A delicious getaway for a yummy Sunday Brunch. Try the outdoor patio garden!
  • Loved the Shrimp Grits and got a chance to sit at the bar and talk to one of the chefs who was very nice. Service was a litte slow, but overall a good experience.
  • Shrimp grits! Do it!
  • It's yumm plus it's nice to see Brad I get homesick out here a bit!
  • Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and the banana pudding!
  • CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!!!
  • Though the sticky ribs and lamb chops exceed the pizza, the backyard fresh topping are work a shot.
  • Our squash wall
  • Check out our raised beds using the M-Brace system! We also have a small orchard! Watch for our gardening classes. Visit http://www.groedibles.com/resources/classes-events/ for dates.
  • The apple crisp was good, pizza was ok, first drink was watered down, but next one was ok. I wish they played music as the night continued.
  • The menu is amazing and a lot of the herbs and veggies come from their own patio garden!
  • Sitting outside on a sunny afternoon and seeing tomatoes and strawberries on the vibe makes you feel like you're down south. Loved it!
  • Not a good look.. Y are they trying to b uppity when it used to b Golden Bird!!
