Foursquare Tips

  • Set on a dark stretch that looks deserted even though it isn't, the Populist has been nudging diners to venture farther up Larimer Street since it opened in November.
  • Tasting menu is maybe the best food secret in the state for the price. Standouts: the carrots, and the bacon & egg. Wines pairings well worth it too. Quirky lists can be risky, they do it well.
  • The Chef's Menu paired with wine is a great value and a super fun way to experience a lot of the dishes.
  • The team behind Crema Cofffe House created a timeless community eatery in its space. Popular dishes include the agnolotti and the smoked fish rilletes. Serves brunch Sat. & Sun. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Go for the tasting menu. Generous portions. One of the better meals I've ever had.
  • Our favorite of the evening was the butternut squash agnolotti. Definitely among my favorite things I've eaten in a LONG time. We'll be back!
  • The RiNo restaurant from Noah Price and chef Jonathan Power is nearly a year old and going strong. Try the cauliflower and pear soup and the curried chickpeas and don't overlook the wine list.
  • #populist get the cubano
  • Favorite dishes that we ordered were the huitlacoche agnolotti and the scallops (I can't remember the name of what that was on the menu).
  • The tasting menu was an exciting food adventure! Delicious!
  • The tasting menu was pretty adventurous, and a decent portion for the price. Expect to try some interesting flavors and courses. Waiters also offer to order items al a carte, if not all order.
  • Not much to say about this place except that it's really good food with an amazing patio.
  • Year after year this place just crushes. Great cocktails, inspired dishes, Stella service.
  • Great bar staff, ever changing menu. Always a solid choice.
  • The mussels were sooo good!
  • Good drinks and they change up the menu
  • Pastas are outstanding
  • Get the 7 course chef's taster menu; easily one of the best meals we've ever had.
  • You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Happy hour specials are great. Small plates; fun to try a lot of different dishes with a group of 4.
  • Off-menu Bacon & Egg Burger: Set atop a brioche bun, local beef patty is loaded up w/fresno chile aioli, melty alpha Tolman cheese, pickled onions, umami-rich bacon & onion jam & crowned w/a yolky egg
