Foursquare Tips

  • Try the spinach artichoke dip, so good, easily feeds four +.
  • The nachos are nothing special, but the Cowboy burger is worth the trip. Order it with sweet potato fries.
  • Nick and Eddie are the bomb behind the bar
  • This is a fun place to drink! It's like a slice of Back Bay Bar dropped into Southie.
  • Get served at the bar by Fitzy, Krista, or Tommy and you won't be disappointed. Also the artichoke dip is bomb.
  • Great pub food and nice service. The pistachio crusted tuna salad is nice with a Harpoon IPA.
  • Good service!
  • Horrible service.
  • South Boston, it will be a sad day if the playwright ever closes, great staff and bar
  • Country Sunday
  • Ridiculous line for nothing special on "Country Sunday" night
  • They have Stella Cidre on tap!
  • Some of the worst food I've had in Southie, but the service was good. Tastes like all of the sauces are watered down. Really weird.
  • Great.Redds Ale
  • Time it took for 2 omlettes. Disgrace.
  • Do not miss country Sundays. -11pm
  • there is no wi-fi, too loud, you should wait like for 30 mins to get your food which is unacceptable. But the food is pretty nice
  • I'm so obsessed with their Mac and cheese. I seriously crave it. I've never actually finished a whole one because it's so filling though! Lol
  • If you like paying $3 for a scoop of homefries, you've come to the right place!
  • The big bald doorman is a complete and total asshole! I will never visit this bar again because of him.
