  • Thought to be the oldest lighthouse remaining on the West Coast and one of the tallest lighthouses in America, Pigeon Point boasts a renowned Fresnel lens comprised of over 1,000 prisms.
  • If you're a couple ask for a private room, don't miss the sunset, and book the hot tube... This place is so romantic! And the guy at the reception is sooo nice
  • One of the tallest lighthouses . Hostel nearby and beautiful views of the coast...
  • Awesome place. Beautiful view. Bring your sweatshirts - very windy. And don't forget the Camera!

  • At the beginning of the fog season the lens is changed in the lighthouse. It's a must see in the evening.
  • You can see dolphins always any time and if you are lucky u can see whales. Lighthouse is nice and the area is beautiful.

  • Look for Harbor Seals on low tide rocks from point deck. Windy? Go down to Whaler's Cove to warm up with the rising sun. Great tide pools just north of lighthouse at - tide. Gift store open Th-M 10-4
  • The toilets near the parking are scary as hell - better not to use them!
  • You can stay here at the hostels they have private rooms and hot tubs for 80 per night...now that's a deal!
