Tips
- Cocktails are a strength in this southern style restaurant. Stop by after work tonight and take the edge off of your day with a margarita made with bourbon.
- Fried chicken os off the hook.
- Shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and the bourbon tart. Do it!
- Food was excellent, the taste I was looking and.craving for.
- During brunch: the BBQ Bourbon Bloody Mary garnished with bacon and shrimp. Because why the hell not.
- It may be known for its fried chicken, grits and bourbon pairings, but Picn also makes an exceptional artisan cocktail.
- Try the Shrimp and Grits
- Pretty good food...fried chicken and mac n cheese was very good..service was crappy...the venue and music are very cool!
- Everything is Delicious from the Hand crafted cocktails to the honey drizzled Fried Chicken!
- The fried chicken & Mac n cheese are great, good portion...but $2 for a drizzle of honey is ridiculous!
- Try the Cornbread
- The meatloaf with sweet sauce is very good. The fried chicken is good also.
- Saturday brunch: catfish w cheese grits and eggs, yum
- Selected as one of the 2012 Bay Area's Top 100 Bars by the SF Chronicle, in the Spirits Curators category. http://www.sfgate.com/wine/article/Top-100-Bar-Area-Bars-Spirits-curators-3674568.php
- Food Blogger Laura of Kitchen Illiterate recommends Picn. "Favorites include the biscuits and gravy, the fried chicken Benedict, and the Picn beignets tossed with cane sugar and cinnamon"
- Happy hour drinks at 5 fog city cooler rocks hard
- Happy hour prices are ~alright, but the regular menu prices are nowhere near worth the quality just yet. A+ Southern food though ~
- Being from South Carolina, I must admit the shrimp and grits were great!
- Pican's food is awesome. But the owner, Michael Lablanc, owes me an apology. So when you see Michael say "Apologize to Zennie."
- For your Sunday spiritual pilgrimage, come for brunch and get lost in a bowl of ettouffee.
