Foursquare Tips

  • Check out the soda machine. It has so many flavors you wouldn't believe.
  • I'd come here for the freestyle vending machines alone.
  • Chicken salad wraps are tasty.
  • Gluten-free items, such as sweet-and-sour chicken breaded with potato starch, are cooked with fresh oil. When peanut-free orders come in, kitchen workers change gloves to avoid cross-contamination.
  • The napkins are nice.
  • Coke Freestyle is in the house!
  • Thai Coconut Curry is the bomb-diggity!
  • Japanese Teriyaki, delicious!
  • Diet Raspberry Coke!
  • Sprite Zero Grape.
  • Pei Wei melds flavors gleaned from Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, & Thai cuisines. Expect familiar dishes like lo mein, as well as a few creations specifically for Chicago appetites.
  • If napkin texture and absorbancy is important to you, you'll love it. However if you taste is of chief importance to you, you're better off with la choy in you're grocer's freezer.
  • Ditto on all the soda tips, it's so fun!
  • Solid lunch.
  • Be prepared to wait for your food here...they take a little while.
  • Ask for the sauce on the side of the rice based meals. Sometimes the put a bit too much on there.
  • The napkins here are very absorbent.
  • The Spicy Korean (steak) was wayyyyy too salty. Too heavy-handed on the sauce. It's so bad that it prompted me to write this tip. Should have stuck with what is tried and true--lettuce wraps.
  • This is P.F. Chang's version of quick food. Eat-in or take out, either way you'll love what you order.
  • Avoid the pad thai. The noodles were actually drowning in sauce. Blech.
