  • Walk around for five hours acting like it's an amusement park.
  • The museum offers free individual admission on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 pm during the months of September to June. Groups of 8 or more require advance reservations.
  • Dinosaurs, bitch.
  • You can use a camera but not the flash.
  • Find out why, technically, the Peabody is the only museum to have a "brontosaurus"
  • When youre on the Connecticut shoreline and it rains, head here! Hands-on kid activities, exhibits, and the awesome giant squid that suspended in the main hall make for a really memorable time.
  • Free individual admission on Thursdays from 2 pm to 5 pm has been extended at least through January.
  • Incredible old- style museum with dioramas and beautiful displays. Super charming
  • Its a Treasure trove of information and display. Definitely recommended self or family especially for the giant dinosaur specimen among others.
