Foursquare Tips

  • Deep fried alien? Nope, Fried Hard Crab. Welcome to Balmore Hon !
  • Although known for their crabcakes their pitbeef sandwiches are a very good value too. Nice, pink, tender pit beef served on a choice of bread, with a Boh draft for less than 2$ during an O's game!
  • Had the crab cake it was great! I will be going back for soft crabs when they are in season!
  • Crab cakes, amazing, handcut fries at carryout love them
  • steak night w/da rib-eye excellent, excellent service too after Taylor's taxes done tonight ;-( state of maryland shame on you!!
  • The food is good but the crowd is a bit to old for me.
  • Best crabcakes in Maryland! Try the rice pudding for dessert.
  • Might be the best crab cake in the Baltimore area. No unruly filler, not heavily breaded, but just right.
  • BEST crab cake I've ever had. Just beats Box Hill. Its like you step back to the 1970s when you step in.
  • Drew gives the best service!! Ask for him if you sit in the bar!
  • Fried Oyster Po boy was awful! Ate a few bites of the oyster but it was soggy and soft, threw it away. Same with the onion rings, soggy.
  • Rib eye can be ordered "western style" with grilled vegetables on top.
  • They have Baltimore Magazine's "best crabcake!"
  • This has my second-favorite crabcake ever. But since it's about $3 cheaper than my favorite, this will do nicely. Also, order a Manhattan and marvel at the tiny flask.
  • The food was good at Papas
  • Great local bar & restaurant. Older crowd but ok food. I thought the crab cake was a little fishy but still a good place in the neighborhood.
  • Crab cakes where pretty good, a little spongy. Supposed to be Oprah's favorite crab cake...she probably hasn't tried Koco's.
  • Best crab cake in the city!!!
  • Crab cakes!
  • Yum that is all
