Foursquare Tips

  • Lobster bisque, 'nuff said.
  • Really great quality product - all they offer. The place looks a bit older cuz it's been around a long time. Do add some rich n chunky lobster mac and cheese in there!
  • The blue crab mac 'n cheese was pretty amazing! Thanks Andy for the recommendation!
  • Loved soups & appetizers we were full by the time we got our steaks. We were charged an extra $3.50 for "extra devil" on deviled egg appetizer. Minuscule charge in the scope of an $900 bill. Annoyed.
  • Best steaks in Dallas! Key lime pie a must.
  • The combination of great food and service places this on the top of my list for DFW
  • Perfect for celebrating with family, or date night. Can't go wrong with filet mignon and Au Gratin potatoes. Top it off with their chocolate midnight cake. Oh yes, don't forget to make a reservation.
  • The best and biggest cheesecake I've ever had
  • Dallas Observer claimed they have the best wine list in Best of Dallas 2010...have a good red with that steak
  • Good steaks, great key lime pie and lump crab Mac and cheese. Overall, more of an old school steakhouse vibe.
  • Hard to go wrong with just about anything here.
  • Except party of 6 n their big mouths q other table enjoyed there celebration
  • off the beaten path and worth the drive!
  • A classic steakhouse. The new 'bone-in' craze is nicely done here. The bone-in filet adds great flavor to an old standby.
  • Great steakhouse, excellent lobster bisque! Make a reservation, and tell them you want a quiet table if you want to have a romantic or just quiet evening. Business dinners, on expense accounts=noise.
  • The special potatoes were amazing and the grilled veal chop was very tender. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive throughout our meal.
  • The Gold Standard for steaks in this town. Always, everything is delicious.
  • This longtime Texas favorite is a classic. Red leather booths, wood-paneled walls, a wine list with 2,300 bottles and some of the best dry-aged, beautifully marbled steaks in cattle country.
  • Really good food. Price is high, but its well worth it.
  • Steaks are awesome, and lamb. Forget the sides though: mega fries are tasteless and onion rings are brown :-/
