Foursquare Tips

  • Have some good ol' chips and salsa...it's #46 on 7x7's Big Eat SF 2010.
  • We love the fact that Papalote cooks most of the meats in its burritos to order, but the results can be pretty generic, until you drip on Papalote's magic potion: that roasted-tomato salsa.
  • THE mission taqueria for white people. This white guy loves it.
  • Skip waiting in line by calling in a to-go order instead
  • Vegetarians: Try the soyrizo burrito. Also, even their refried beans are vegan. Plus their amazing homemade salsa. Combine all three: dang.
  • My favorite breakfast burrito in SF
  • The salsa is second to none, truly incredible
  • Want to try the best salsa in the city? Head over to Papalote on 24th and feel the burn. (We suggest taking it to-go and having a picnic in Dolores Park.)
  • Order the soyrizo burrito and a bottle of coke. Enjoy the awesome.
  • Get a burrito and put it in your face. #faceburrito
  • They famously won the Bobby Flay burrito-off on the Food Network and with a wonderfully griddled tortilla and attention-grabbing size, it's easy to see why.
  • People call this a yuppie burrito... Suck it! It's a delicious burrito. Especially when coated in the most delicious salsa known to human.
  • The Carne Asada burrito is Jeremys favorite in San Francisco. The carne asada is cooked to order and always upgrade to the super burrito.
  • Go to el farolote for a burrito twice the size, twice the taste and half the price
  • Order the pescado burrito, super, with pinto beans. It's the best fish burrito in the Mission.
  • Get a soyrizo quesadilla or tofu tacos, and blow your fucking mind.
  • Everyone knows it's all about Papalote's salsa: in particular, the creamy roasted habanero sauce that's smoky but mild. You're going to want to generously use that or other options on your burrito.
  • The quesadillas are great, but you will envy your friends that get massive burritos. Make sure you get save some chips to dip in your guacamole.
  • Great place for food with original concepts and flavors. Huge portions so you definitely get you're money's worth. Try the Adobo or the triple threat burrito. Those are their two signature dishes.
  • Soyrizo is the best thing ever - coming from a carnivore
