Paleo Apple, Pear, and Cherry Strudel

I called this a paleo apple, pear and cherry strudel because it has all of the ingredients of a strudel but I didn’t roll in a dough but topped with a crispy topping. I poured almond milk on mine and it was the perfect dessert with my cup of tea.. Paleo desserts are the best!!

Preheat oven to 325. Prepare a 9×9 baking dish by brushing melted coconut oil. Peel, core and quarter the apples then thinly slice. Chop pear (into chunks all the same size) Layer the apples in a lightly oiled 8×8 baking dish. Add apples and pears then coat with lemon juice. Add in a layer of dried cherries and pecans. In a medium bowl combine almond meal, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup and salt. Then add remaining coconut oil. Take butter and break apart and mix using your fingers into the mixture.
