Tips

  • Step 1: Go with a friend. Step 2: Order the shrimp tacos and the chorizo & egg tacos to share. Step 3: Die of joy.
  • House margarita is fabulous. Pork tacos are fabulous. The Painted Burro is fabulous. Go there.
  • A few standouts like the tamarind-glazed chicharrn and spicy chipotle chocolate ice cream. Read the full review at: http://now.tufts.edu/articles/dish-painted-burro
  • If you like tequila and cilantro, this is the place for you! Get the Guac.
  • The Chicken Milanesa Torta was exquisite. The Garlic Mayo mixed with the avocado on top just brought out the crisp chicken crunch. I highly recommend it if you're here for brunch.
  • Morning tacos: light and delicious.
  • The Painted Burro is more Latin American than classic Mexican, though grilled fish and meat and molesall made with really fresh ingredientsfill the menu here.
  • If you're a pumpkin fan, I highly recommend the pumpkin sangria. Sweet, very pumpkin-y and delicious. Paired with autumn squash enchiladas- perfect fall meal!
  • Get the Ceviche Del Mar. Just do it.
  • Great food, awesome tequila, just an overall great spot
  • Service is quick and the manager will come around to check in and see how your meal is going. Service is excellent.
  • Nachos and Diablo Ritas. That is all.
  • Try the bouron drink with the habanero apple and the hot dog dish!
  • Mad this place has been here a while and it's just my first time here. Everything was phenom: pork belly guac, nachos, carne asada, chorizo tacos, and shrimp tacos. All ridiculously great.
  • The nachos are A+
  • The Partida Margarita is worth every penny
  • Pork belly guac. That's all you need to know.
  • The fish tacos are awesome.
  • Try the Chupacabra taco. Amazing.
  • Feast on tacos made with lamb neck and apricot barbacoa with cotija cheese, bar snacks like "chingon" cucumbers with watermelon radish and pickled grapes and more...
