Tips

  • Black sesame ice cream. You will not be sorry.
  • Great ice cream and original flavors. -Eric Wolitzky, Top Chef Just Desserts
  • Try the Red Bean Ice Cream
  • PHOTO: Chinatown has grown a lot since this photo of Mott Street was taken in 1935! Check out the photo, at the link, and send your new view to @nydailynews on Twitter!
  • Egg custard (Dan tat) flavor is my jam
  • End a gluttonous Chinatown dinner with a fantastic assortment of freshly made ice cream the flavors change, but we like the Blueberry Cheesecake or the Wasabi.
  • Have the green tea ice cream.
  • Stay Authentic! The Black Sesame and Red Bean ice flavors will blow you away. Knicks fan? Add Jeremy Lin sprinkles. Read more at: http://bit.ly/UntappedCICF
  • There aren't any seatsjust a green-and-white-tiled counter for placing orders.
  • Red bean and taro!
  • sesame!!!
  • Do a double: get green tea & mango ice cream and you'll be NOM NOM NOMing it away!
  • Flavors I highly recommend are the Lychee, Red Bean, Pistachio and Green Tea. Get them on sugar cones. Well worth it. Also, tip your server!
  • Black sesame ftw
  • Try the Black Sesame. It's the best ice cream I've ever had.
  • Split your scoop like this: 1/2 almond cookie, 1/2 black sesame.
  • Lychee is our best seller!
  • I like the Black Sesame ice cream when they aren't out of it
  • Best Ice Cream in NYC: They serve all the original flavours like the lychee, pandan, and the now famous black sesame (which you need to try). The almond cookie or green tea are just as good!
  • Ask for samples. Be brave, try the "different" ones. Trust them.
