  • Pulled pork is great!
  • More than 200 big game trophies & mementos of Ole's world wide safaris are here.
  • Burgers were great, food was hot and fresh.
  • Ole Herstedt has his place decked out in more than 200 taxidermy trophies of animals he killed and brought back to his small-town bar.
  • Very dissatisfied with the service and food. Rice was undercooked, the medium rare ribeye was quite rare. "Premium Mac and Cheese" (costs a dollar more) = Kraft. However, the fried pickles were great.
  • Buffalo burgers & big game on the walls.
  • Loved the chicken fried steak with hash browns and over easy eggs. Best restaurant stop if you're making the drive from Eastern Nebraska to Colorado.
  • Had the sirloin and shrimp with a salad. Food was thoroughly average, but the game trophies on the walls made it a memorable stop. I wish they had more "big game" options besides a buffalo burger.
  • We tried the Chicken Fried Steak special. Delicious!! Fast, Friendly service too.Ole's is a place we really look forward to stopping at anytime we travel from Iowa to Colorado.
  • Killing for sport is disgraceful. Not impressed, especially seeing animals that are endangered.
  • The food was just off.
  • Its the fried chicken, burgers, and steaks that keep the local corn and cattle community coming back to fill their guts.
  • Good Rocky Mountain Oysters. The side salads could use some color. Kids mac-n-cheese looks like it came out of a box!
  • Very cool place and will come back again to try the steak. The Ruben, Coleslaw and chili was not very good. Would have done steak if waitress didn't say that these items where good.
  • A great place to stop with the kids. There are big game trophies from all over the world. Not really for vegetarians.
  • Get the Pulled Pork with the sourdough bread. Delicious! Also, look around the restaurant you'll be surprised on what animals you find.
  • The fried pickles are some of the best I've ever had and I'm from the South
  • Good steak and they have wifi!!
  • Hmmm...I was more impressed when I went there a couple of years ago. Seems like the quality has gone down a bit but this place is SOOOO COOL! - BusinessWebCoach.com
  • Try either the top sirloin or buffalo burger!
