Foursquare Tips

  • Avoid Aiden Bordener at all costs.
  • This spot was final resting space for the Arkansas, a ship that wrecked on Alcatraz, was bought for a song, and got towed to what would later become the corner of Battery and Pacific Streets.
  • This Lagunitas is healing my intellect!
  • Pauly, the bartender, won't forget your name. Even after two months.
  • Just a standard no BS pub with a quick bartender. Decent burger to go with it all.
  • Bangin onion rings!
  • Make sure you avoid Chris Callahan at all costs.
  • Great food, fast service, funny staff, no bullshit. Love this place.
  • Try the Breakfast Biscuit WithEggs, Bacon, And Cheese - #kvpnewsroom - Fuel to power thru Noon show!! Also. I love bacon!
  • Try the Fried Chicken and Biscuit - #kvpinmybelly : Found w/ @motherbirdnews. Adored having #friedchicken for #brunch!! Nice combo of Cajun spices and honey butter
  • Fried pickles are weird. They're not what you're expecting.
  • Beef + pickle tacos = yes please!
  • Avoid Aiden Bordner and Chris Callahan at all costs.
  • By the way they're only 5 bucks
  • Buried underneath this Barbary Coast saloon lies the remains of the Gold Rush-era ship, the Arkansas.
  • Great beer and bar food
  • I don't know what's good here on a day to day, but I know what ain't: breakfast. It's cheap & filling (& simplistic), but if you're looking for satisfying and tasty, try somewhere else. Also cash only
  • I would highly suggest the Ruben with sweet potato fries! One of the best I have ever had!! Pauly is a great friendly guy behind the bar, and the owner Bill knows how to treat his customers!
  • A pub that's always packed for weekday happy hours. It's got a nice vibe but is often too loud for comfortable conversation. Get the fries.
  • Decent bar grub, disappointed it isn't ever as crowded as it should be.
