Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Will Debut A 'Kung Fu Panda'-Themed Restaurant

A Royal Caribbean cruise ship is getting a Kung Fu Panda-themed restaurant.

The Quantum of the Seas will debut a Kung Fu Panda noodle shop this week, according to USA Today. The ship will be based in Shanghai and make trips to Japan and Korea.

The noodle shop will serve dim sum, noodle bowls, and traditional Chinese desserts. The design and menu will draw its inspiration from Mr. Ping's noodle shop in Kung Fu Panda. Mr. Ping, a goose who came from a long line of noodle chefs, took his job at the shop very seriously.

Menu items will cost $2 to $5 each. The restaurant will serve the food family-style.

Quantum of the Seas first tested out sailings in the New York area and will arrive in Shanghai this week. The third-largest cruise ship ever built, it features a deck-top ride into the sky and a bar with robot bartenders.
