Japanese Parents Are Comparing Their Babies' Arms To Bread Rolls

Move over hotdog legs, there's a new food meme in town.

Hundreds of parents in Japan have been tweeting images of their babies, specifically their adorable, chubby arms, and comparing them to sticks of pull-apart bread commonly found in Japanese supermarkets, reports the Daily Mail. The photos have been accompanied by the hashtag #MyBaby'sGotTheBestBreadPhoto.

The overall response has been positive. One parent writes 'This is the best hashtag ever,' and another writes, ”I couldn't resist posting this photo that I took last year!"

BuzzFeed points out that Japanese social media crazes in which parents compare their children to food is nothing new. Past iterations include squishing babies' faces to resemble rice balls and stretching babies' faces to look like rice cakes.
