Hipsters Are Now Serving Lattes In Avocados
Is there anything else that Millennials like more than avocados and overpriced lattes printed with over-the-top latte art? What about a latte served inside an avocado?
The "avolatte" is a hilarious innovation created by the Truman Café in Melbourne, Australia.
Apparently the sight of a carefully curated espresso latte being poured into an avocado skin was too much for even avid trend-seeking Aussies to bear:

People are even trying the bizarre coffee invention themselves:

If this sounds like a joke to you, you're absolutely right. The whole thing started as a nod to Australian real estate mogul Tim Gurner saying that the reason 20-somethings aren't buying homes is because they're buying too much smashed avocado toast.
"We weren't actually selling them but then someone came in today and wanted one," barista Jaydin Nathan told news.com.au. "I think it's ridiculous. It's literally coffee in a piece of rubbish."
Truman Café has started selling the avolatte due to overwhelming demand, but they're still baffled.
