Dominique Crenn To Appear At The Fifth Annual Margaret River Gourmet Escape

Dominique Crenn of San Francisco's Atelier Crenn and Petit Crenn, who was named the world's best female chef this year by The World's 50 Best Restaurants, joins the all-star lineup of food and wine personalities from around the world as the first U.S.-based chef to ever appear at the fifth annual Margaret River Gourmet Escape, presented by Audi.

The festival takes place in Western Australia's Margaret River region from November 18-20, according to a release.

"Margaret River Gourmet Escape, and the Margaret River region, have been on my bucket list to visit and I am so excited that this year I will be there to see and explore this beautiful region for myself," said Crenn. "Discovering its produce and people will be at the forefront of my trip, and I can't wait."

Crenn joins more than 40 leading food and wine personalities from around the world who will also be participating in the event, including "Queen of the Kitchen" Nigella Lawson, Joan Roca (whose El Celler de Can Roca in Spain is this year's No. 2 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants listings), Mauro Colagreco (of Mirazur in France, No. 6), and Andoni Luis Aduriz (of Spain's Mugaritz, No.7).

These "celebrated culinary personalities" will give cooking demonstrations, lead wine tastings, and participate in panel discussions.
