Shake Shack, Staple Design For Product Capsule And Custard

Shack Shack has teamed up with New York-based creative design firm Staple Design for a limited edition product capsule (a t-shirt and sunglasses) and frozen custard concrete. All three specialty products launch Friday, September 12.

Designed by Staple founder Jeff Ng, the t-shirt features a Shake Shack-inspired graphic that incorporates the iconic Staple Pigeon with different New York City landmarks.

The limited-edition tee ($23) and sunglasses, are a three-way collaboration between Shake Shack, Staple, and lifestyle eyewear maker Knockaround ($35), are available exclusively at ShakeShack.com, StaplePigeon.com, and TheReedSpace.com.

Finally, the limited-edition Staple Concrete, available between September 12 through 21, features "rich and creamy vanilla frozen custard blended with seasonal raspberry jam and chunks of black sesame glazed cake doughnut specially made by NYC's own Doughnut Plant."

Staple Concrete is available at select Shack locations: Madison Square Park, Battery Park City, Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO Brooklyn, Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn, Theater District, Upper East Side, and Upper West.

"This collaboration has 'New York City' written all over it," said Jeff Ng. "It's great to see that something I created in the street culture fashion market can now be translated to the culinary world."
