GNC Holdings to Premiere Its First Super Bowl Ad in 2017

The Super Bowl ad will help build awareness for the company’s mission to aid in a healthy lifestyle

The company has a commitment to “Living Well.”

GNC Holdings, Inc., a leading vitamin and supplement company, will premiere its very first ad in company history during the Super Bowl on Feb. 5, 2017.

In addition, the company will also relaunch shortly before the ad as One New GNC, according to a press release.

All corporate stores located in the United States will be closed Dec. 28, and will reopen as the new brand Dec. 29, with “improved customer experience and a new business model built around consumer preferences.”

"The decision to make the substantial investment in Super Bowl advertising and promotions reflects our commitment to raise awareness of the One New GNC and invite consumers back into our stores,” said Bob Moran, GNC's interim CEO.

“Done right, a Super Bowl advertising strategy, and the subsequent campaign that follows with the investment, has the power to drive significant interest in the brand, encourage trial and do it much, much more quickly than we could with a traditional advertising plan.”
